Diana Greenwich was like any normal girl. She had two parents, a roof over her head, and an annoying little brother. But that's all about to change when the life scarring event of a hurricane hits her. She's falling head first into nothingness and loneliness until she meets her two friends, Ricardo and Violet, after being sent to an orphanage. And since the orphanage is for girls only, Clyde, her brother, must be sent away. In this story of friendship, horror, and sorrow, Diana will soon learn that even though this all happened to her so young, life goes on.
