Running

My heart is beating loudly in my ears and all I can think of is getting away. I want to scream but he'd hear me and I would die, maybe that would finally give me peace. I can't think like that now. I have to run. My adrenaline spiked as everything he did to me plays in my head. This man was evil and this man was my child's father.
