Anthem Wintaker has wanted nothing her whole life but to see the colors everyone else sees. Just to see the vibrancy described in books and feel the emotions each one packs full. But she knows it is a farfetched wish. She has never seen color and, for all she knows, she never will.
Until she touches Ryder. For the briefest kiss of a moment, her world had been shot with color like a painter had gone mad. But as he pulled away, the color drained again down to the shades of gray she had been carrying herself in for 17 years.
Was it a coincidence, or had this boy been the key to her color?
