When someone screams something at you enough times, you tend to end up believing it. This trick of the brain was the reason I didn’t protest when he screamed anymore. In the back of my mind I knew I shouldn’t believe him but it’s so hard to deny what has been yelled at you for the majority of your life. Especially when the bruises and scars make you agree with them. They make you believe that you are ugly and worthless and that you should never have been born. They make you wish you would never wake up when you fall asleep. And worst of all, I am forced to call this man Father.
My name is Alyssia Liberty Laurentia.
To the government and every other person in the United States I am Libby Alyssia Laurel.

Libby finally worked up enough courage to get away and make that terrible man her past, but his words still rung in her ears and his face still haunted her nightmares. She ran and ran until she had gotten as far away from the man as possible. She ended up settling into an apartment in a little town called Creek Hollow, which has a dark past of its own. Libby enrolls in Creek Hollow High and immediately has all eyes on her. No one comes to Creek Hollow to stay. No one.

Greyson Stark is the resident player of Creek Hollow High and the moment he sees her, he wants her. And Greyson Stark always gets what he wants. He is the Alpha, after all.

But what will happen when she won't let him have her? And what will happen when Libby's past rears up to attack her? Will the secrets that are the key to her survival be unveiled in time to save her? Or will she forever be a captive?
