Piper has a secret. A secret that has affected her for the past three years of her life. She has never told anyone, not even her older brother Ian whom she is the closest too. Piper is ashamed of what has happened to her, and rather than come clean she backs away from people completely. Now the only person Piper can stand to be touched by in any way is her brother with an advanced warning. The friends she did have left her long ago and where she was once a straight 'A' student she now struggles to get by. When Ian moves away to college Piper's condition worsens and after an incident that almost claims Piper’s young life her parents are at their wits end. Not knowing how to help her, Piper's parents want to send her to rehab since she has never sought out help in the past. When Ian hears this he automatically volunteers to take his sister off their hands for her junior year. Together Ian and his roommates, Aaron, and Darius formulate a plan involving Aaron’s younger brother Romeo in an attempt to help Piper overcome her fears and mental battles, and return to her normal self. But what happens when Piper's feelings for Aaron become more than they should? And when Aaron's brother Romeo begins to get under her skin. How will Piper deal with her new found feelings and falling inevitably for two guys? Will the plan they concocted work to help Piper? Or will she ultimately crash and burn?

Growing up in a toxic environment, sixteen-year-old Jay Foster has always had psychological problems, coupled with a quick temper. But one night something happens which finally pushes him over the edge, and as a result, he leaves his house the next morning with two things: his mother's gun and a plan. Living with a neglectful and drug addicted mother wasn't easy for Jay, and it definitely didn't help that his father abandoned the family while he was still a child. He harbored a hatred toward his parents, and that hatred extended to almost everyone and everything around him, producing a very troubled and damaged young kid. As Jay enters high school, he becomes very intrigued with one of his classmates. Kind of obsessed, actually. Her name: Mikayla Keeler. Mikayla is very unique, and like Jay, she doesn't seem to fit in with her contemporaries. Instead, the two of them keep each other company, and their friendship very quickly escalates into a romantic and intimate relationship. Despite having Mikayla, Jay's troubles continue to burden him. He and Mikayla are fighting habitually, his home life is still unbearable, and his time at school is hardly any better, made worse by a bully named Calvin. Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school. With everything seemingly piling up, Jay is very close to his breaking point, and late one night he is blindsided by the unthinkable, pushing him much too far and effectively planting in his mind a cruel and horrific plan for revenge.

It does have around 40 chapters so it might not seem like it. But trust me that it is.] ||Full Disclosure|| I started the book in the end of 8th grade so it needs MAJOR editing. It also does have Sexual Chapters, as well as people of the same sex being together, murder, brutally torture talk of rape and sexual harassment. So if you do not wish to read things like that then this unfortunately isn't the book for you. ||You Have Been Warned|| First book in the Heart series. •Do Not Copy This Book In Anyway•
