cancer determination fairytale hope inner mothering positive strength

This is my second poem and it's about a little girl who gets cancer and her life after the diagnosis. I have never known anyone who has cancer and I tried my best to convey what I thought it would be like to be the mother of a cancer victim.  As always, I photographed the cover and I wrote the poem with no outside help. Hope you like it!Tous Droits Réservés

MELANCHOLY | Melancholy drips from my fingertips. PURCHASE "MELANCHOLIC MUSE" ON AMAZON! This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly, you begin to forget I even exist. All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. Here, in the pages I find myself, in the ink that writes against my flesh, I will whisper the sadness, the heartache, and the decaying for all of the unspoken. why does falling in love really hurt?? like, i just love! why does it make me so hurt. and then, i realized... love arrives like a storm tearing down walls i didn't know were there exposing the raw nerve endings of my heart it hurts because feeling is terrifying but the ache is also the proof that i am alive .....
