Except running away from cops dressed as mustached-gangster-pirates- and jumping up and down walls and skipping a lesson and tricking the whole school into thinking you fell down the stairs while really you were running away from cops dressed as mustached-gangster-pirates with- according to what I've heard- the scariest group in school- you can thank Axel for that, and Xander, Xander is pretty intimidating too- and this group basically comprises of a jock with anger issues, an oh-not-so-stupid prankster, a dorky brilliant mute and their leader.

That would be a good story to tell the grandkids....
"Oh you kids these days- when I was your age I was running away from cops-" '

Elodie James Emmett is your typical high school sweet heart.

Loved by everyone, average grades, outgoing, curious, dauntless.

Or at least that's what everyone sees.

With abusive parents that are often half way across the world, she has been alone since childhood. And had taken refugee- not in books- but in robots.

The most dangerous, advanced gangs and criminal groups are also looking to get their hands on her.

So now what? A group of boys are sent to look after her, while also trying to befriend her and find out her secrets.

Neither expected what would come.
