'Nothing unusual-

Except running away from cops dressed as mustached-gangster-pirates- and jumping up and down walls and skipping a lesson and tricking the whole school into thinking you fell down the stairs while really you were running away from cops dressed as mustached-gangster-pirates with- according to what I've heard- the scariest group in school- you can thank Axel for that, and Xander, Xander is pretty intimidating too- and this group basically comprises of a jock with anger issues, an oh-not-so-stupid prankster, a dorky brilliant mute and their leader.

That would be a good story to tell the grandkids....
"Oh you kids these days- when I was your age I was running away from cops-" '

Elodie James Emmett is your typical high school sweet heart.

Loved by everyone, average grades, outgoing, curious, dauntless.

Or at least that's what everyone sees.

With abusive parents that are often half way across the world, she has been alone since childhood. And had taken refugee- not in books- but in robots.

It's the side of her life that no one knows about, she develops complex machines in a secret 'liar' connected to her room, just for the fun of it.

But what she doesn't know is that the government has found traces of her whereabouts and are trying to find where she keeps this technology, they found that it could be revolutionary, and they're not the only ones looking for her. The most dangerous, advanced gangs and criminal groups are also looking to get their hands on her.

So now what? A group of boys are sent to look after her, while also trying to befriend her and find out her secrets.

Neither expected what would come.

I began writing this at 15 and finished it at 17. It is my first novel, give me grace for that. [Warning: this book contains explicit content, crude language, drug use & abusive scenarios.] He tried everything, everything, everything to forget her. No matter how hard he fought, the memories wouldn't fade. She wasn't some dream girl, she was the dreamy one who taunted him. A blonde viper that shattered every part of him. But picking up the pieces? That's the part he never thought he'd get around to. Ace Valentino doesn't do what people expect-he's the guy who walks on the wild side just because he wants to. A brooding young man with a dark side fueled by brokenness, addiction, and bad decisions. His heart is still held hostage by his stoic, adrenaline-obsessed ex. How could he move on with that? It isn't plausible. So, he drowns the pain with alcohol and anything that numbs him. But Ace has secrets, ones he vowed to bury forever. Then, his new neighbor moves in and suddenly, something inside him stirs-something he's not ready for, and everything he's terrified of. Willow Andrews, sweet yet scarred, knows nothing but loneliness. Her guardian's abuse has built walls around her big heart. Love is a stranger to her, and she's afraid of what she doesn't understand. But something about Ace, the tortured soul next door, draws her in-despite the fear. In a world where love is something they can't quite reach, Ace and Willow collide. What could possibly come of this? Can they save each other, or will their pasts break them before they have a chance? The line between magic and misery is thinner than they think-and the change they both desperately need might just be the thing that destroys them, or... sets them free.

CLICK THE LINK IN MY BIO FOR EARLY ACCESS CHAPTERS ON INKITT!! *** "Calm down," he said as he brushed the broken glass off his forehead. "Calm down?" I shrieked. "You're telling me to calm down after a man just tried to kill us in the middle of the night and is now laying right over there dead!" I said pointing to his limp, none moving body. "He's fine," River said as if it were no big deal. "I didn't hit him that hard." I looked at him in pure shock. What was wrong with him? "Now come on," he said grabbing my arm and leading me away from the man. I looked at him. Sweat had formed all over his forehead and a look of urgency was written all over his face. Blood was now leaking from the nasty cut on his forehead and looked like it would need some serious tending. I looked between him and the guy laying on the ground. I'm probably going to regret this later. I thought to myself as I took a deep breath before nodding and without a second thought, he continued pulling me away. *** Cat was your average girl; she maintained good grades, loved friends, and wanted to become a famous dancer, but her life changes when she literally runs into the biggest bad boy in her school: River Parker. Aka, the boy who doesn't care about anything or anyone except his very few close friends, including Cat's best friend Liam. But little did she know that her 'run in' would throw her into a life of drugs, gambling, near-death experiences, and so much more. And to make things worse, she might be falling in love with him and all his dangerous ways. (I know that this may seem cliche, but please give it a chance) ©2016 Highest rating: #1 in TeenFiction

*Completed* "I just want to know why." I say as I turn over, trying to find his figure through the dark of my room. "Why what?" He asks. "Why you're being so nice to me." I say quietly, vulnerability seeping into my words. "How we even became friends." He sighs, "I want to know how." I scrunch my brow. "How what?" His response is soft, the opposite of his sarcastic personality. "How you don't see it." ******* Reagan Holt was about as average as a high school student could be. She didn't play any sports, didn't participate in the popular activities, and wasn't the girl all the boys chased after. All except one boy. He wrote her a letter every week. Each letter described something new for him to love about her. Whether it was how beautiful her laugh was or how his heart swelled with every smile she gave, he never failed to write how he felt. So the two should be together, right? That's the way Reagan wants it, but there's just one problem. He signs his letters "Love, Anonymous." Now add an obnoxious, conceited, sex god into the equation and you get a teenage girl confused on who really loves her. The sweet, tender written anonymous lover, or the cocky, ignorant asshole? -REVIEWS- "You create such wonderful characters and I can't wait to see what happens next!" VampireSa5m41993 "Thank you for wonderful dogs and little brothers and eccentrically hormonal best friends!" -Nat-Attack "I am totally hooked on this book!" nbazinet "I love the way the story flows and that you have really roundabout characters. "Give me a reason then." The boy demanded, eyes fuelled by a rage that was not unknown to him. "What?" Emmett questioned. "Give me a reason, tell me a lie, that contradicts to what you feel for me and I swear to you, I'd leave you alone." "I don't feel anything for you." Emmett easily lied, ignoring the ache in his heart at his words. "Not good enough." Emmett lashed out, shaking with agony as he had never known as his voice quivered pathetically, "I look at you and I see my world-shattering into these despicable shards of audaciousness that reflect my only desires, otherwise deemed unworthy by the universe. This is what I truly feel for you." "Is that what you really feel for me, darlin'?" "Yes and don't call me that, my name is-" "I don't care what your name is, just answer me." The boy vehemently interrupted, fiercely questioning him again. - Can a broken boy find love in an ostracised world where gender roles and even sexual desire is shaped to suit the society?
