Friday, it's great, isn't it. Well, not for Mars Pie Middle School students. As a promo for the new product, Mars Pie, the school has a giant pie fight. Sounds fun, right? Well not if the teachers are the only ones with the pie. And there's one teensy eensy little thing that Pie Co. left out: the pies, if consumed turn you into, well, a mindless zombie on a lust for human pancreases? Probably should have put that on the box.
Our story follows James and Leslie. Two best friends who are going to have to find a way to stop this infection. And they only have one day, Pieday.

A Cure goes horribly wrong, creating a zombie virus which quickly spreads across Australia. It reaches to a large friendship group and forces it to momentarily split into three. On this journey all they can rely on is, luck, skill and trust.... which most of them lack. They will have to test their extents of their friendship and when they meet and join once again, their final aim evolves from just 'surviving', to finding a cure. But in the end they're still just a group of immature teenagers with a fitting immature sense of humor. This is quite a light hearted story with a few dark moments.Complete

Amongst their own, and even civilians, they're rock stars. They're the people who give everyone hope that a war against zombies that can be won. They're the exact opposite of Ella.
