One girl. One gang. One too many questions.

----- A life led by lies.
A fate destined to be. The search for Dakota Thompson.

"Pulling the trigger is the easy part. You have to know who your aiming for."
"The rules are as followed Cali; Don't. Get. Killed."

When Calissa Thompson, a persistent college student, is told her younger brother Dakota is still alive-she wishes to find him. Yet in order to do so she must partner with an old childhood friend, powerful gang leader James Westbrooke. Caught up in a deadly line of work, Cali works side by side with the gangs most honoured-Lykan Davis, a corrupt enigma to most; but to her, he's enticing. Calissa agrees to work for Westbrooke in order to get to her brother, but it's more than she anticipated. She's not the only one searching for Dakota, but will she be the first to find him and keep him save?

So many questions, so little time. A gun may be fate for some, but can it mean faith for others?

The answer may leave you with more than you questioned. -----

"I didn't ask to be in the middle of your ego-battle," I grumble. Blake pins me to my locker, hands resting on either side of my head. "Well, you got it in anyway, Darling," he whispers. His face is inches away from mine and damn me for licking my lips. I am NOT falling for these guys. And then, at the corner of my eye I spot Owen and his gang approaching. Well, that's just great. *** The West and East gang of Tygerwell have been at each other's throats since the dawn of time. And the two leaders of these gangs want to end the fight, once and for all. But fighting with fists is easy. Fighting with wit and charm, is a whole other ball game. Blake. West-side gang leader. Leather jacket and killer glare. Don't talk back. Owen. East-side gang leader. Fancy coat and toxic stare. Don't resist. And in comes Amber. Hair of gold and oceans in her eyes. Has too much sass for her own good and always, ALWAYS, manages to get into the middle of trouble. But these boys have no idea who they're really dealing with. And when Amber descovers she knows a little too much when it comes to guns and fighting, she has to question everything she thought she knew about herself. Three can play this game. *** "Let's settle this. You got rejected, I got rejected. It's only fair that the fate of the gangs be on who gets the girl first." "That sounds rather good, Rhodes. I'll take that bet on the golden girl." *** COMPLETED FICTION AWARDS: Best new story and best new account Highest ranking in Teen Fiction: #1 on 25/06/2018

She's troublesome. He lives for trouble. Both embedded with their own secrets and lies. A girl who's self-destruction leads her to a camp for delinquents. But the trouble doesn't stop there. Still mysteries and pieces to put together. Every single person has a secret. The question is... What're you hiding? And why? Remember... If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun. I suck at descriptions honestly just read with book ;) Here's a fun snippet: "You kissed them?" Chase whispers to me. "No! Well yes and no, kind of. Now's not the fucking time," I stop myself from rambling. "Put the gun down," Louis demands. "Or we will shoot!" "What if I shoot first," I challenge. "Five of us and two of you. You knock down one or two of us we'll have your name on a gravestone," Louis grins evilly. "Are you underestimating my shooting skills?" I question. "Do you want to find out," Louis dares. "No! No the fuck we don't," Chase yells. He shoots me a 'what the fuck is wrong with you' look and I shrug.
