Tawnie, a gifted wolf who hasn't discovered her talent yet, has been on the run from her Alpha mate for five years. But he hasn't stopped looking for her, and it's only a matter of time before he finds her again. Standalone in the Marked Mate **** Gifted wolves are plagued with a mark from a mutation that gave them powers. They were on the run from the Enclave Clan, an influential group of wolves who hunted them for years. But now, the clan leader is dead, and gifted wolves are free. However, the stereotype among them remains. They're different. Strange. And frightening. Tawnie has been on the run from her Alpha mate for five years. The reason why? She's gifted. Plagued by the mark of a gifted wolf, Tawnie fears getting attached to someone after a painful upbringing. Not only is she a gifted wolf, but she can't harness her powers, which adds more shame to the mix. It isn't long before her past catches up with her, though, and she's thrown into the path of her soulmate she's spent so long trying to avoid. Now that he's found her again, everything she thought she knew about love and acceptance is about to be turned on its head. But is it for the better or for the worse?
