Emma Swan was just born when her parents left her on the side of the freeway. Or so she thought.

Killian Jones lost his mother at a very young age, and his father was murdered just before her could remember what he looked like. Or so he thought.

Both ended up in the bad side of the foster home. Released at age seventeen, both meet each other and instantly become connected in ways no one could imagine. Or so they thought.

Over a decade later, they plan a vacation to Maine and end up in a town called Storybrooke. The people are insane, insisting that they're people they couldn't possibly be. Insisting that they returned from the Underworld and must have been given false memories. 

How can they be Captain Hook and the Savior? After all, they are what they've always been. Orphans.
