Some people in the world are lucky. They have family, friends, good health, money, they are surrounded by happiness. I'm not saying that others can't be happy because they don't have all those things, because they can, it just doesn't come quite as easily.

Lavender used to be one of the lucky ones, with a loving family, lots of friends, good health and money. Happiness followed her wherever she went- until she was diagnosed with Melanoma, a type of skin cancer that changed her life, and her attitude towards it.

Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. For 2 years Violet also paniced but she knew that some people don't find their sm for 5-10 years after they come of age, so she wasn't as scared as Harper. Usually I'd stay up in my room all day bundled up under my covers watching rom-coms on repeat and crying because I'd be thinking about how I would be dying in just a few months-- or years. No one knows when the time is going to come. But that's when I met my best friend-- Ashton Williams. He once told me one day when I was doing the usual (sitting in my room watching rom-coms on repeat while crying) to live a little before the day I die. I took his advice, and wow, let's say I'm extremely glad for him telling me that... Because there's a first time for everything when it comes to making a bucket list.
