I'm glad I met her when I did, because, if I hadn't, it wouldn't have happened. None of it. Ollie wouldn't have snuck into the library for a French to English dictionary.  Chrissa wouldn't have been diagnosed. James wouldn't have stolen a goldfish. I wouldn't have gotten to ride a mechanical bull (like it was a choice). Lillie wouldn't have eaten enough chocolate to make her face swell to the size of a puffer-fish. We wouldn't have destroyed that parking lot, or start a petition, or eat seven whole pizzas as one.

             The accident wouldn't have happened.

            But I wouldn't take mine and Ollie's friendship away for anything. Even her.
