Five days camping? Should be no problem for Ebony LaCrosse. A go easy camping trip sounds so nice right now. All she needs is time away from the modern word. Just five days. But something goes terribly wrong. Her boyfriend pops up unexpectedly. All the markers are washed away. Her phone dies. She takes an unexpected swim, and loses more then half her food supply. Then for sure, she loses her way. Surrounded with animal calls--the snap of a twig, a sinister laugh?--and then things take a fatal turn: Ebony stumbles upon a cold dead body in the forest. The murderer is watching. Stalking. And Ebony knows it. She has to rely on her wit, brawn, brain, and will. But no one EVER escapes his game. Never. When he wants something, he always gets it.
