Hana had just moved in with her aunt and uncle. Her mother had passed away when she was five. When she was ten her father began to drink. He would hit her day in and day out.

When she turned 15 her aunt and uncle decided it would be best and safer if she lived with
them. One night while she was sleeping she heard a voice say, "Go to sleep."
