Inside Draco rages a battle between what he has been taught and what he now feels and knows. Can they redeem each other? Can they overcome their personal demons and become friends along the way? Are they each other's only true solace? Can Draco overcome his prejudices and admit his feelings for Hermione? And can the Gryffindor Princess ever fall for the Slytherin Prince?

A second perspective. This story begins before Harry's third year at Hogwarts. Summer has only just begun, but Harry Potter already knows it's going to be different.
