Jonah yelled at me, looking away as if he couldn't stand the sight of me and what I had done.

I felt self-hatred surge through me as I watched him pace the room, the tracks of his tears clear.

This was all because of me.

He turned suddenly, and walked towards me, his anger clear in his tightly clenched fists.

I flinched instinctively, even though I knew he would never hurt me.

He fell to this knees in front of me, taking my hands in his.

"Promise me, Sarah. Promise me you won't hurt yourself ever again. Never again." , he choked back a sob, while looking down at the self-inflicted slits on my wrist.
