Veronica McKlain is in love with horses. She lives on a horse ranch and pretty much everyday see horses. She trains them, rides them, feeds them, and loves them. Her 16th birthday is coming up and what she really wants is a personal horse. She had one a few years back, but unfortunetly it died because she fed it wrong, so her parents were afraid to let her have a new one. Meanwhile, a mean girl at school keeps bothering her and she does have a few family issues, so it just makes her life harder. And the decision of giving her a new horse is just making her parents more stressed.
