Melody Moore is a plain Nerd. She always follows the rules and people hate her for it. She'd never dream of being "bad" until she meets a strange boy who is the exact opposite of her. She wants to be with him, which means breaking the rules and potentially putting their relationship in danger.

Left and Right in the Dark - A Julian Casablancas fanfic

40 parts Complete Mature

After her parents are stuck in Maine from a plane accident, 16-year old Sophie Martin is all alone and stuck in the streets of New York City. Being a Canadian native (Quebec, to be precise), she has little to no knowledge about US/New York culture. During her first night of being in the city all alone, she stumbles upon Julian Casablancas of The Strokes. Being a huge fan of their music, a giant wave of excitement crashes over her. But as much as it excites her, it worries her. When Julian invites her over to his apartment, she knows right away that her life is going to take a whole different turn. This is set in the summer of 2003, (pre-"Room On Fire" era). Disclaimer: This story will contain topics such as: Smoking, Drinking, Illegal Relationships, Suggestive/Mature "Romantic Activities", mentions of rape and self-harm, and Strong Language.
