The Archducal plague hit in Europe then Asia. The story take place in Europe. Madeline takes on the fight as the plague infects her household she goes off on a journey to find the Island. The Island is an Island off the country side of Europe where no one dares to go. It contains the rarest and strangest plants and animals, some kind some dangerous but the most deadly is the Archducal Genesis there is only one remaining and because there is one they begin a competition. Every family has to volunteer their bravest male member to go off and fight for the last Genesis. Madeline can't risk her father since he is the one that is infected. Once you get infected you die within 5 weeks. Will Madeline get caught? Will she make it? First started in 2015, this story is at 50k+ words, but was removed when a plotting hiccup was encountered. I now intend to split it into three parts, and this is the complete Part 1.
