In a seemingly peaceful age, a secret war rages in the shadows. Hundreds die every day, victims of a curse they didn't even know was within them. 

After a tragic event that shakes both of them to the core, sixteen year olds Alec and Silver pendant find themselves shattered and broken. Every day seems a brutal reminder of what has happened, every night bringing a cold sweat to their bodies. 

But, they find light in the darkness within them, and embracing it seems like the only way out.
As an age of fire dawns, all hope seems fabricated. The world around them is changing. Fast.
