I'm currently modifying a few things.
In an Illéa where there no longer are castes, a young woman, whose dream is to be a guard, has to settle for becoming a diplomat. The only way is going to college. Studying hard each and every day, Cassandra finally makes it into political sciences and keeps on giving her best, despite the tough time the professors and the other students give her. But as soon as she picks up the pace and manages to balance studying, sparring with her brothers and father and sleeping, her life is turned upside down by the Selection, a concourse she's never even dreamed of actually entering. The real challenge now is trying to make up both her mind and her feelings.

- I know it's canon that Maxon and America have Eadlyn, that hers are the selection and the throne. This is a sort of AU... The heir is a guy.
AUTHOR'S NOTE
there will most probably be a couple or more scenes involving hand to hand combat, shooting and overall handling weapons, not only in a controlled environment (such as a gym, during training), but also in extreme situations. I'll make sure to mark the chapters in which such scenes occur, and to specify the exact scene; so whoever might be uncomfortable with violence, blood loss and similar can skip said part.
And there is most probably going to be a little swearing.
