Résumé : Dans une époque, et un monde similaire au notre : il existe une maison perdue au milieu d'une forêt possédant bien des secrets. On dit qu'elle est habitée ... Mais personne ne peut y apporter de preuve et elle fait plus partie de ses histoires que l'on raconte aux enfants qu'à une réalité que l'on veut oser explorer. Cette maison, personne ne sait à quoi elle ressemble et personne ne sait comment s'y rendre... Car de mémoire d'Homme jamais personne n'avait mis les pieds dans la forêt.

The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" "There are a bunch of wolves outside my house. I think they have rabies or something I'm not sure." The banging gets louder and I can feel my face getting wet from the tears. "Mamm did you say wolves are there?" "Yes Yes there are wolves about 10 of them out here in my front yard. I need help!" I hang up the phone and sit on the end of the stair case. I close my eyes and start praying. Something I haven't done in a while. "I have faith, there is a god. I have faith, there is a god, I have faith, there is a god." I repeat over and over. The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other. Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets. What if he had a past he didn't tell you about and the only way you found out is because the past came to kill you? And I'm not talking werewolves and vampires. Cherise would only wish for problems for they would be so simple compared to hers and Zaire's. Suspicious agents in suits roam the streets without an explanation. They're staring straight at me. The new Chemistry teacher is NOT who he says he is. I'm doing things I never thought I could. Like, mutant-level things... Lauren, Luc's dead twin sister, hid something from everyone. Something important that may have lead to her demise and that could lead to ours. Hunters are in town. I never knew four words could contain so much dread and terror. I'd rather deal with the Wanderers. I'm on the brink of a breakdown. I need help..." BOOK #2 IN THE SERIES! Ignorance is not bliss... In the wake of ridding Oakwood of Wanderers, other dangers come creeping in and they're somehow linked to Luc's absent twin. The past returns to haunt the mutants in inconspicuous ways. Riley's life is yet again in jeopardy, but this time she's not alone. Luc and his family are all thrown into the teetering balance. More secrets are uncovered. A trap dawns on them all. Invisible threats start crawling from all directions. Who is the real enemy? TW : behaviours of depression and PTSD are displayed. I don't name them, but one of the character will be struggling a lot. It may not be suitable for everybody. Other adult matters are briefly included, but nothing explicit or intense. Will You Still Look at me Again?
Our main character, Romero Porcupine, decided that a change of scenery would be a nice decision for himself, after he had experienced a traumatizing event in his life. So, he decided to go and live in a nice, quiet town. It is said to be amazing. The townsfolk are supposedly nice. The scenery is amazing. There does seem to be a little bit of noise at night, but that is normal. Right? I mean, who would not love to live next to the woods in a town that has a "Wolf Problem," whatever that means, AM I RIGHT??? No but seriously, he is a bit concerned for his well-being, and along with trying to keep his past and his job a secret from the town, he is trying to figure out how to process some new... information... he gets about the world he lives in. But, just maybe, he can find someone in this town to confide in? Someone who seems like he can trust. Enjoy (Side note: I know I don't usually post this type of stuff, as this is supposed to be SMUT.
