Quinn, fresh from America completly lost in her new country. John, stuck in on-off relationships that never work out. And Sherlock, a consulting detective who shows no interest in relations with people. When Mrs. Hudson, the landlady, introduces Quinn, John immediately goes in for the kill and Sherlock's world gets rocked when the emotinless world he's used to gets shaken to its core. He trys to deny his feelings thinking that its a one time thing but living in the same block of flats doesn't help, now does it. Quinn develpos feelings for Sherlock just as he does for her, but will the constant doubts from media and Sally Donovan convince her otherwise?

Being able to rope, ride and handle cattle to name a few. Shooting from the hip, playing poker and throwing back whiskey never hurt either. Nick could do all those things but none of that would matter if anyone knew the truth about him-if anyone knew his secret. So to protect that secret, Nick keeps to himself as he works on the ranch at Atkinson Spread. He likes his job and the bosses are decent but Nick is lonely. Covered in scars, both of the physical and emotional variety, he longs for one person he can truly be himself around. That one person he can love. Aiden is running. He's been running since his family realized what he was, called him an abomination and cursed him to death. Bakerstown Texas is where his legs and his will to run finally give out. Somehow he finds himself hired on to work at Atkinson spread though he knows nothing about cattle. He has already resigned himself to a life alone but that thought goes out the window when he lays his eyes on a ranch hand named Nick. Even then, Aiden knows he can't have Nick. Nick doesn't seem to suffer from the same condition that Aiden was born with and so there's not a lot Aiden can do about his attraction to the other man. Until a night at the saloon goes a bit too far...... Can these two men be together or will their secret be found out and their disease dealt with the frontier way?Complete

But this strategy failed. After they get married, William slowly falls in love with her. When he confesses he fell in love with her because of her bed head and pajamas, it makes even less sense. Now Bess has to either face her unpleasant past with love or risk losing her best friend. No Strings is a 80,000-word humorous Woman's Fiction. Posting because this is probably the whitest complete book I have and while I like it, I don't want to officially publish it. It does deal with women, mental health (lightly), abusive relationships, and makes serious fun of Romance novels, Lifetime and Hallmark Channel as being unhealthy. The diversity is mostly on women. And when Holly starts having dreams about another guy, that looks a little too much like the alpha that is claiming to be her mate, you get chaos. Holly just can't catch a break. It would be so easy to... to be angry and punch a hole through the wall, through the foam of his pillow -- drive his fist through Sherlock's heart. But he remembers; in the most tragic and inopportune of fashion, remembers how angry he had been when Sherlock had jumped, how furious he had been at his funeral, and how it hadn't stopped him from breaking down at his grave nonetheless. The thing about his anger is this: it does nothing but leave him behind in the end, a bundle of nerves and frailty in his bones and an unsteady sway to his gait. It does nothing at all, but reduce marginally the constant, suffocating oppressiveness of his days bleeding into one another with a burst of adrenaline. The thing about his anger is this: it doesn't give him back Sherlock. So he gets a new flatmate- a woman named Holland. They were great friends at school and in fear he would be lonely again after Sherlock died he started to meet up with her, and soon, she moved in with him. They're just friends, though. No one could have a bond with John like Sherlock did. Sherlock was his best friend. But then Sherlock returns, and John is more furious than ever at him. Also, Sherlock and Holland seem to bond quite well, which is something Sherlock finds too complicated to explain itself.Complete
