Scarlett Wood and her mother live a rather sumptuous life. But it wasn't always like that and Scarlett makes sure to remember the previous struggles every day. Although she can't say the same for her mother, especially after the past decides to play catch up when the council make sudden plans to tow down an area important to her family, with her mother being the one running it!  

A gang of protesters ambush them during the meeting. Scarlett discovers who they are and ultimately makes the decision to help them...but what happens when Scarlett gains more than she expected out of it?
