Things you should know before you read this book:
1-Garnet is NOT a fusion and ruby and sapphire are her sisters.
2-Rose Quartz is alive but has gone into hiding. Steven doesn't know this.
3-Stevonnie is a separate person and is Steven's older sister. She knows that Rose is in hiding.
4-Pearl, Amethyst, Garnet, Rose, Peridot, Lapis lazuli, Jasper, Stevonnie and Steven are NOT gems.
5-The main characters have the same back stories but with a few tweaks here and there.

Star Sapphire is the only sapphire of her kind. Her ranking is higher than an Agate! All star gems are second to the Diamonds. But each of them still had a Diamond they were made for. Star Sapphire was made for Pink Diamond. She was made on Homeworld and was always treated like a superior. She was very loyal to Pink Diamond and the other Diamonds. She had future vision that was 99% correct! She also had fire and ice powers. (Like Todoroki from BNHA) And her weapon was a bow. Like Opals. She knew about Rose Quartz but never questioned her. She always saw Rose doing her work when she came by, so she didn't question it. She didn't look into the future to find out about her Diamonds shattering. She never knew until.. One day, Sapphire was walking up to her Diamonds palanquin when she saw.. The Rose Quartz. She drew her rebel blade and... *POOF* Her gem was no longer there... there were pieces of her where she had dissipated her form. She stared at Rose in shock. She didn't really hate Rose but she dislikes her for now. She didn't REALLY agree with her Diamond but.. That doesn't mean she deserved to be shattered!
