When Ryder Montgomery was 14, he was in a serious car accident. One that not only killed his brother, but left him with retrograde amnesia. Unable to remember anything that happened after he turned 6 years old, Ryder is left with a gaping hole in both his memory- and his heart. 1 year passes and Ryder is still left with both holes, but a few months earlier, he began having these dreams. Dreams that feel more like flashbacks than dreams. And in these night-flashbacks, Ryder sees a young blonde girl on the tire swing. Back and forth, she swings, until the girl turns around and- the dream ends. But that's not where the story begins. 2 years after the accident- and two years of constant cramming and home-schooling -Ryder is finally up to his grade level in schooling and able to go back to what's called "Hell" in the media. Excited, he begins to think that maybe- just maybe, he'd be able to find out who the girl on the tire swing is/was. And on his first day, he meets dozens of blondes, but 3 that stick out in particular: Scottish-born cheerleader Astrea, Rebellious, foul-mouthed Morgan, & quirky, easily-embarrassed Lana. And they just so happen to be best friends. The journey to his memory might be harder than he thought.
