Everyone is different, no one can deny that.

He didn't understand the need to be the centre of everything.
She didn't see the point in hiding away from the world.

"I don't like the attention, there's a reason I don't screech my opinion for everyone to hear, I prefer to keep myself to myself"  
"I'd hate to be that shy muppet in the back, it would be too boring. I'm a lively and wild person; I like to be social with everyone"

There was no way to understand how the other person felt. You couldn't judge them from the side-lines; you were just a spectator to their life, but what happens when you're forced to live within the lines of the other person?

What happens when you switch bodies with your polar opposite?

The social butterfly landed on the invisible wallflower.

I'll tell you one thing.

It wasn't the usual cliché; in fact it wasn't cliché at all, there was no falling for each other.

It was messy, awkward, tiring and just plain crazy.

But I promise you, it was the best thing to have ever happened to either of them.

"Well then. That's the first time a girl has ever rejected my close proximity," he said, eyes ablaze with a playful fire. "You better get used to it," I retorted as I spun on my heel and headed for the school doors that led to the outside. "I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around. "You got the 'little' part right there, Princess!" he shouted after me. I threw up my middle finger back to him and heard him laugh as I exited out the doors rather dramatically. ... I'm tired of all those high school stories about a straight-A girl student with the perfect life who falls for the stereotypical Mr. Bad Boy who wears leather black jackets and only has a soft spot for her. That's not how the real world works, sweetheart. I may look like a damsel, but I'm never in distress. ... They were the exception The promise meant to be broken They were so alike yet so different They didn't want to admit it even though the truth shone brightly The thought of them being alike was so sickening that they turned a blind eye at any given opportunity They say opposites attract but for Nevaeh and Leonardo that was not the case "Why are you still here ?" She questioned I looked up to see her curious facial expression "I couldn't leave you here" I simply said and shrugged my shoulders , I was both lying and telling the truth. "It's not like I asked you to stay" "You didn't have to" "Why are you such an asshole ?" She said I could feel the intensity in her voice the way she held back all the anger and frustration . My blood was boiling not from the fact that she just swore me but from the fact that I didn't have it in me at that particular time to respond to her rude remark instead I just pushed down my anger and breathed "Well when people paint you out to be someone you end up becoming that person" "So just because they paint you out to be someone doesn't mean you have to live up to their expectations" I chuckled a low chuckle and looked out into the horizon she's so gullible so oblivious to this world to this cruel evil world , "And yet here you are living up to their expectations".......
