I remember a long time ago when I was little, when I got angry, sad, or hurt. She would hold me in her arms and cradle me "you're alright" she would say "you're going to be alright". I remember that night when she had crawled over to me, soaked in blood and sweat, she had picked me up and held me tight. "You're alright" she had said, her voice barely above a whisper"you're going to be alright".

There was a story my grandmother used to tell me about the woods outside my house. She said that there were monsters Lurking deep in the shadows that watched and waited for children to enter so they could gobble them up. I knew that she said it to scare me out of the woods. Only problem is that it didn't work. The deep dark Forrest called to me like no other. It was like that is where I belonged not out on the streets playing kick ball like all the other kids. I was supposed to be running through the trees feeling the wind rush past me. This is the story of how I discovered that the monsters lurking in the Forrest were real.
