Its been a while now since Cutter has past away, leaving her boyfriend, Stone in denial and on edge. But soon, Stone is given Cutter's journal from the English teacher to read and find what Cutter has left behind. Cutter has written poems before she died--ones about Stone. And as Stone gets lost into the pages of Cutter's world, he soon discovers that death isn't the only way to be with her--she's with him wherever he is. True love never dies. ((Short story from my WIP, "One Last Smoke" for a contest on Figment."
