Ever since the Rift, nothing on Cyera has been the same. The world - now a bleak wasteland scarred by arcane residue - is largely barren, save for the few civilizations and tribes that remain. It is a time of peace and discovery, with the advent of Magitech on the rise and the land ever so slowly being rebuilt.
All that is about to change with the assassination of King Ysen, as the world looms precariously on the edge of war. And with hushed whispers that tell of orcs and demons, gun-toting faeries and corporate wizards, the present is looking grimmer than ever. There might not even be a future.
