Cameron Summers, otherwise known as Cam, was a hopeless romantic, outgoing, and relentless girl. Her best friend Samantha Renolds, otherwise known as Sam, was the same way. They weren't popular, but they where known as the schools pranksters, and the ones to always get a detention, and to speak what was on their mind. Some would even call them the 'bad girls' of Oakdale High. Almost all of the boys wanted to date them, and almost all of the girls wanted to be them. And then one day, Cameron's world completely changed. Cameron now is suffering the loss of a very close friend, her best friend. What will happen when a new 'bad boy' comes to town, moving in just next door, throwing parties when no parents are home, and no cares in the world. All he wants to do is party, drink, hump-and-dump, repeat, and with summer just coming around the corner, there's plenty of time for her obnoxious neighbour to break havoc. But then he sees Cam, and not just as a one night stand and a bad girl, but as a lost broken girl, he sees right under her mask of happiness.

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights.
