An ancient evil is awakened. Due to human greed, a devastating plague is released that first kills...then reanimates corpses into savage and wild cannibalistic creatures that only want to feed on human flesh. The civilized world is rapidly thrown into turmoil, as old norms and morals are replaced by abnormal and nefarious ones. In the book, The Undead Plague, humanity has reached a breaking point. Will it survive?

Told from the perspective of several unique characters, this novel details their struggle to survive in a new, brutal and chaotic world now filled with the undead. From Roland Smith, a high school dropout who must overcome his own personal demons, to the evil scientist that has no qualms about experimenting on his fellow humans in a desperate search for a cure. The experienced, hardened military commander, faced with the impossible task of attempting to defeat the massive hordes of zombies streaming toward Washington DC, to the Vice President of the United States, who uses this opportunity of turmoil to ruthlessly perform a coup and overthrow the sitting President. In a world filled with uncertainty, only one thing is for certain: in order to survive, each one will have to fight not only against the dead, but those still living as well.

What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. She would soon find out just how far people would go to ensure their own survival. -------------- Please check out my first finished novel. It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Genre: Science Fiction, Romance, Post-apocalyptic, Dark romance Length: 84,468 words This book has been published on Amazon.
