CHAPTER 1:WORK HARD FOR MR. WICHERSON Rosalie Queen Hill was a very confident young women with big dreams to open her own shoe making store, to get enough money for her parents; her family was very poor they didn't even have enough money for Rosalie to go to school, so for her she didn't get a lot of education she had to take baths by using water from a water bottle old and already used soap tossed in the garbage. And the only thing to dry off with was the warm hot sun but only on days that it was sunny,which she had hoped for everyday. But one day,working hard in her cornfield trying to raise some money for her family and herself, Rosalie saw a man walking up to her, his name was Mr. Wicherson he was wondering if she was looking for a job " Excuse me mam but would you like a job down a Wickershams mansion I think you would make a great yard worker and maid." And when Rosalie heard that she got a job for the first time,she had a big smile on her face of excitement. But the job she had to do wasn't what she had thought it was. When Rosalie started her new job on her first day it wasn't what she had dreamed in her head, everyone there we treated like slaves all they ate was grites, and chili sometimes cold,dry, lumpy, and a week old. And the way they would get clean was the same way Rosalie did in her cabin in the fields by using a bottle of water and an old used little worn out bar of soap and the only difference is they had a napkin to dry off with. As soon as Rosalie saw this she changed her mind. "I'm so very sorry Mr. Wicherson but I think I'll just stick to working in the fields and working on my corn farm but thanks so much for the offer maybe some other time so. . . um. . . good-buy" CHAPTER 2: HOMEMADE BUTTERED BISCUIT "I'm very sorry mam but you don't have a choice you work for me now and once you agree there is no changing your mind so get to work.
