Everyone's heard the typical teenage story. Bad boy falls for the good girl and they live happily ever after or better yet who can forget about the long time best friends finally confirming their undying love for one another? I can assure you that none of this happens in real life or even in this world portrayed throughout my story. But can my assurance be enough?

Meet Dahlia. A typical girl inside a book but not the nerdy nor bad kind. But one thing is for certain that when she and her brother, Liam, return from staying in France for 4 years, nothing is the same between their family as it was when they left. And it will only get worse.

Now meet Toby. A not so typical boy inside a book. He's all of the clichés rolled into one. He's a top grade student that is yes popular, well liked call it what you must. He's known. But every actor hides behind a mask of false lies. What is his world really like behind all of the popularity and the fronts he puts on?

But there will always be a cliché moment inside a teenage story. But you just have to read between the lines. All will come clear if you just open your eyes.
