It's her senior year and all she has to do is pass her Covert Operations final before she heads off into the real world of spies. But then, the unthinkable happens. She fails. She fails her final and her and her friends are stuck in a place where no spy should ever be... Uncertainty.

Ben Ripley is a spy-in-training at the CIA's Academy of Espionage. In his short time there he's had a lot of success, but made many enemies in the process. He just wants to find some balance in his personal life, but the bad guys just won't cut him any slack. They've got big plans for him. Background I would like to become a better writer, and I am using the Spy School series for practice. I really like the way Stuart Gibbs writes, and I fully admit I am trying hard to copy his style. I don't know if I was successful or not. Hopefully, some of you will enjoy this short half-novel. I know it probably starts a little slow, but it does pick up. At least, I am having fun writing it. Takes place after Spy School Goes to Sea and contains spoilers from all the novels. All characters are original to Stuart Gibbs. Spy School Northern Assassin
