Techmensurgy, the melding of mind, machine and blessings, gifts bestowed upon the unborn by the abyss are unique to each world.
When disasters befall the limited space they call their "world", their eyes are open to the existence of the multiverse and a much much bigger problem.
 The force that separates their universe from another is collapsing. The gears of fate connecting them, they don't have the ability to save their worlds, their universe unless they fall into the endless green abyss.

In the distant future, the Earth's biosphere is on the verge of ecosystem collapse. Stranded on the planet, Joilee finds herself not alone when she encounters a primitive indigenous race known as the Quexamatil. With the help of the natives, Joilee learns how to survive, while waiting for Earth's rescue team to arrive.

Terra Solum, crown princess of Mars, is trying to decide whether to give up her crown to her diabolical younger brother, or keep the crown and be forever trapped in a life she doesn't want. A temporary arrangement is made, during which she is allowed to teach at UAA and keep her title while she decides which life she wants.
