With her people starving, specifically her sister and mother, Katniss decides to take drastic measures by venturing out into the wild and volunteer to go to the only remaining city, The Capital.
Katniss, her sister, her mother, her best friend Gale, and Gale's family set out with the tribute recruits, expecting anything to attack. With starving tribes and the undead scattered around, will Katniss and her loved ones survive the trip? Are these new strangers worth befriending? The Hunger Games never end here.
