1 year has past since Gregor has been in the underland, and his family is thinking about moving to the family farm in Virginia but Gregor doesn't want to leave! He doesn't want the fact that he will never get to go to the underland again become reality! He misses all his friends (especially Luxa) and can't help feel he belongs there. On the last night Gregor thinks is his last night in New York, something strange happens and now there might have to be a little delay on his family trip to Virginia...

He had kept contact with Luxa, his one true love after his family had chosen not to move to Virginia. Lizzie has had some interesting developments, as well as himself. When a letter comes to him from the Underland he realizes he has to return. The city of Regalia needs him once again.

Please do not be fooled by the name. This tale is about Gregor. I have read Suzanne Collins' Underland Chronicles several times. To me, the Code of Claw is a heart-wrenching tragedy. I do not wish to leave Gregor, Luxa and the Underland in war-torn despair. As such, I have written this story in an effort to heal some of the wounds which the Chronicles may have left in you.
