Sabal was a simple young man. Being as this was how he personally defined himself, the gods as well as the Sisters of Fate had other plans for his life. Direct contact would be forbidden, as scripture says, however destiny had it's way of creeping it's celestial fingers around you and driving you on the right path if it was important. And he was.
Hidden within him, a magic of infinite might rested dormant until the very moment it could reunite with the others. The others being 4 more like himself, all given a gift that was foremost and crucial to the end play. It was the only thing destiny, the gods, or the Fate Sisters could not see. Gyilkos, the God of Death, had made sure of it.
These 5 special humans were a gift from above, made for the very reason to keep peace among the lands and send the vile and lustful demons from below back to their corner. And, would the time ever come, they would be the final defense should Gyilkos escape from the Gates of Prudence.
