Harmony Bradshaw is a strong, independent girl who has gone through some tough times. Never having known her father, she was raised by her mother. Harmony sometimes thinks that she's a burden to her mum, who's always sending her off to boarding school. And there's one other thing, Harmony was born blind.
Now she's starting at a new school but of course mum wants her at a boarding school again. Year 10 is suppose to be one of the hardest years of your schooling. Being blind won't help. But Harmony is special. Because she was born without one of her senses, some of the others have developed into something straight out of a comic-book. She can hear a fly buzzing around from 10 metres away.
But fate has other things in store for Harmony. When she meets Andrew Davis, her life will change forever. He's just like her, in more ways than being disabled and teased by their schoolmates.
