"Being odd isn't so bad. Or .. maybe it is?"

Arden despises anything that's even remotely normal.

But that's until she is dragged into a mess where people have suddenly started disappearing. In Alpencruz, everyone is born with some kind of ability. Some can mind-read, some can telepathize, some can teleport, while there are a few who can herbwitch. But that's normal.

What isn't normal is her. Her abilities. Trying to hide her abilities has turned her into a liar-a dangerous liar.

She knows she is different but what she doesn't know is, there are others like her and that, she is dangerous. Worrying about a mysterious island and some cryptic stuff Finn aka the prankster of the school had muttered is the least of her concerns right now.
