In the Willow's Arms

One one side of the story we have Briar, a sixteen year old girl with a hole in her heart, a girl who spends most of her boring life in the calming arms of a willow tree. But her life is flipped upside down when she becomes a tribute for the 71st annual Hunger Games followed by a series of risky and life-changing decisions, a dress made from tears of the stars and a unexpected rescue.
On the other side is sixteen year old Aliver, a boy with a mysterious and troubling past and the yearning for a family of his own. Aliver's life story is opened with the a series of events such as the mysterious disappearance of a student, a mind blowing discovery of love and an act of both stupidity and bravery.
Two people. Two stories. An infinite connection.
