A Queen who mysteriously disappears. A King missing in action. A young Prince forced to become King. A kingdom placed on the shoulders of a young girl. Sixteen years after loosing their king, the kingdom of Birlesik is flourishing. The princess, Annalise now 19, was raised by her three older brothers, Mathew, Samuel, and Isaretle in their castle set in the middle of the capitol Hellemere. As a result she often followed them to training where she too began to learn swordsmanship, or well swordwomanship. She became so skilled that by the time Annalise turned nineteen winters she had become the champion warrior of her kingdom. Her eldest brother and king did not take well to this achievement and he asked her to turn to a more ladylike lifestyle, Annalise had other plans. Things soon take a turn for the worse as the once peaceful country is threatened once again. The two older brothers leave to calm down trouble caused by a neighboring country leaving Annalise and Isaretle to run the country until they return, but that day never comes. After not hearing from the brothers for nearly two months Annalise is forced to leave Hellemere and take on a quest that will impact the entire nation.
