Revolution City: the city of superheroes. It isn't rare to see some spandex covered figure flying past when getting afternoon coffee. From Cadmus Prime to Scarlet to Silver Streak, the city is filled to the brim with superheroes.

And in the supposedly amazing depths of the city, high school student Gwendolyn Anders walks through life to the beat of her own drum as just the typical nerd at the bottom of the high school food chain--glasses included.

But she's not.

Here, it’s almost a luxury to be normal, even if the people who are never realize it. Gwen doesn’t have that luxury and instead, she’s a part-time superhero. For her, being a part-time hero is like working a graveyard shift with school thrown in the mix. She fights crime at night and goes to school in the morning. Of course life isn’t that simple. It never is.

As a teenage hero, Gwen gets the worse end of both sticks. Between teen awkwardness and fluctuating crime rates, Gwen begins questioning everything and everyone. But when a revolution ignites and all chaos breaks loose, Gwen can no longer afford to question the city with crazy goons chasing after her. Yet she still does. And she hasn’t even met the worst of her troubles yet.

So much for happy high school years.
