Her son was found sleeping in a cot in Covent Garden, with nothing but a carton box, a necklace, and a wrist band that read: Aiden Nolan Parks.

The bus screeches to a halt in front of an old, worn out house in the English countryside, in a village in Suffolk, known as Woodbridge. Aiden's suitcase rolls behind him as he hops off with his 'mother' in front.

Somewhere in this story, Cassidy Buckingham watches the new boy, supposedly known as her cousin, take over a room in her house. And somewhere even further, the story of Karen Baker starts to surface. Together, Cassidy and Aiden put their fingers on the first threads of Aiden's past, and as the threads interweave, the trail of Karen Baker materialises.

Aiden can choose to live with his mom but chooses not to because he wants to protect his brother who can't choose yet. As Aiden dives deeper into his fathers unknown past, he uncovers more and more details about his father's past. As he continues to dive deeper, the tension grows heavier. Through out the story, Aiden finds himself digging through old journals, trying to remember certain things. Can Aiden solve the mystery of his father's behavior and show the world the true nature of his father or will he choose to shrink down to nothing and continue to struggle?
