Die 16 Jährige Jo lebt zusammen mit ihren Eltern in einer kleinen Stadt, in der nicht viel los ist. Sie langweilt sich oft, da sie nicht viele Freunde hat und ihre Eltern fast nie etwas mit ihr unternehmen. Ihr Vater ist fast nie da und ihre Mutter sehr aufbrausend, sodass sie oft Angst hat etwas Falsches zu sagen. Daher fühlt sie sich nicht sehr wohl und zieht sich oft in ihr Zimmer zurück um allein zu sein.
Dies ist ihr Leben und ihre Geschichte.
