Claus was always a dark person, as a child the creatures that lurked in the shadows beckoned him to join them.

He doesn't have a heart and anybody you ask will tell you so. People cower in fear just by his name, everyone but Aurora. She was special to him, and no matter what he tried he could never let her go.

She always saw the good in him that he thought he had lost so long ago. She was pure while he was tainted, she was kind while he was crude. She was everything he was not and he had to keep her, the delicate flower alive in a field of death.

He knows he can't live without her but he refuses to make her live this life he does. Not knowing what to choose Aurora chooses for him and runs, but it seems like she is running from more than just him.

Pasts are revealed, secrets are shared, lives are lost. Will Claus let Aurora be the one that got away after learning his innocent angle isn't so innocent? Or will he chase after her to the ends of the earth until she's in his arms again?
