Midnight Thoughts

The things that echo inside your brain
That ricochet around your skull
Making your eyes leak
And your body shake
The things that spoken aloud seem lame
And other people would call dull
When your emotions are heightened, at their peak
And you feel like with one touch you could break
And shatter into hundreds of tiny pieces
Wishing to see
Who cares enough
To help pick you up
And put you back together again
