Young Remi Allende, is the princess to the King and Queen of France, is outraged by her arranged marriage to the prince of Amerisa, the newly founded name of America in 5016, who she hasn't even meet. After moving to Amerisa to prepare for the wedding, she meets Exavier Holland, a 17 year old human-elvine mut, whose parents died serving the King of Amerisa.
